Get up and running in a few simple steps so you never leave a club behind again.

    Download the ClubWatch app

    The companion app is completely free and works on iPhone and Android. Grab it from your app store below.

    Open the app

    Once it’s installed, run the app and allow Bluetooth and location permissions so ClubWatch can talk to your trackers.

    Sign up for a free account

    Create your free ClubWatch account so your clubs, settings, and rounds stay synced to you.

    Add each club with ClubWatch

    Screw a ClubWatch unit onto each club grip (hold the black portion as you screw it in). Then register your clubs in the app one at a time — remove a club from the bag and select its name in the app until every club is added.

    Go play golf, worry-free

    Tap Play and head to the first tee. ClubWatch will alert you if you ever leave a club behind — so you can focus on your game.

How do I get started using ClubWatch?+
Follow this one-time setup process: Download the mobile app, select clubs for installation, screw each club unit into grips (holding the black portion), register clubs by removing them from the bag one at a time and selecting their names in the app, then tap Play. A video tutorial is available. Note: hold clubs to light during registration if not in bright conditions.
What is ClubWatch?+
Lightweight sensor devices that screw into your club grips and communicate with a free app on your phone to alert you if you leave a club behind, before you go on to the next hole without it.
What's the story with lost golf clubs, and how does ClubWatch solve it?+

Do I need an app to use ClubWatch?+
Yes, the app is completely free and available on the downloads page.
Do I need any special equipment to use ClubWatch?+
No, ClubWatch simply screws into existing grips.
What if I have a SuperStroke or some other grip without a normal hole to screw club units into?+
A special club unit in a silicone sleeve that slips over the grip end is available for grips without standard holes (like some SuperStroke putter grips).
Will ClubWatch affect my swing?+
Very lightweight and located at the ends of your grips at the swing fulcrum, so you’ll never notice they’re there, and they won’t affect your swing.

How does ClubWatch work?+

Club units contain a light sensor, accelerometer, microcontroller, and Bluetooth radio. They send signals indicating in/out bag status. Two modes exist:

Standard Mode: Doesn’t depend on distance; monitors club sequence and timing. Requires units on putter plus at least one other club.

Pocket Mode: For keeping phone in pocket during play; alerts trigger when clubs get far from phone. Works with any single club unit.

Additional timers: Return Timer (time to return other clubs), Removal Timer (time to select clubs), Pocket Timer (signal loss duration), Max Timer (maximum out-of-bag time). All are adjustable.

What are the Play and Pause buttons for in the app?+
“Play” enables lost-club alerts. “Pause” allows registration or settings changes; disables alerts. Next app start goes directly to Play mode if clubs are registered.
Can I leave the app open while I'm not playing, and can I leave the app in Play mode?+
Yes to both. At driving ranges or practice greens, tap Pause to prevent false alarms, then resume Play mode on-course.
When I start the app, why don't I see my clubs connected?+
Club units only connect with the app by Bluetooth when they need to, for battery conservation. Status displays once removed from bag (OUT) or after reconnection (IN).
Tell me about the batteries+

Are batteries included? Yes, each unit comes with a pre-installed CR2032 coin cell battery.

How long do the batteries last? 6 years or more.

Can the batteries be replaced? Yes, user-replaceable CR2032 batteries.

How do I know when to replace the battery? Replace when low-battery warning appears in app.

How do I replace a club unit battery? Pry off cap with coin, remove PCB, remove old battery, slide new CR2032 under clip (positive side away from PCB), reassemble.

How do I update my ClubWatch Tracker firmware?+

From time to time we release firmware updates that improve tracker performance, battery life, and reliability.

What is ClubWatch Advanced?+
ClubWatch Advanced is a premium subscription that unlocks a complete golf companion suite on top of the core club tracking features. It includes AI phone alerts, Find My Club with GPS, a digital scorecard, AI swing analysis, club analytics, distance tracking, GPS course maps, a Rules Official AI, and CW Social.
How much does the Advanced subscription cost?+
ClubWatch Advanced comes with a 30-day free trial when you purchase a ClubWatch device. After the trial it’s $9.99/month, or $8.33/month when paid annually. You can cancel anytime, and core club tracking always stays free.
Can I use ClubWatch without the Advanced subscription?+
Absolutely. The core ClubWatch features — club tracking, missing club alerts via the app, and battery monitoring — work with no subscription required. The Advanced subscription adds premium features on top of the free experience.
What alert options come with the Advanced subscription?+

Advanced subscribers get an additional alert method beyond the standard app notification:

AI Phone Alerts: Receive an actual AI-powered phone alert when a club goes missing.

How does Find My Club with GPS work?+
When a club goes missing, tap “Find My Club” to see its last known GPS location on a map. The app opens Google Maps or Apple Maps with directions back to your club — no more wandering the course trying to remember where you left it.
What is the AI Swing Analysis feature?+
Record or upload a video of your swing, and our AI analyzes your technique in seconds. You receive a Swing Score (0–100) and detailed feedback on grip, backswing, hip turn, and follow-through — like having a teaching pro in your pocket.
What does the Digital Scorecard include?+
A full-featured scorecard with access to over 50,000 courses worldwide, multiple tee box options, multi-player support, color-coded scoring, GHIN handicap integration with automatic posting, and instant sharing via text, email, or social media.
What are Club Analytics and Distance Tracking?+

Club Analytics: Automatically tracks shots per club, putts per round, and usage patterns so you can make smarter equipment and practice decisions.

Distance Tracking: Measures how far you actually hit each club using GPS and builds accurate averages over time — so you know your real distances, not your best guesses.

What is the Rules Official AI?+

What is CW Social?+
CW Social is a built-in community where ClubWatch users connect, share rounds, organize tee times, earn achievement badges, and find nearby golfers to play with. It includes profiles, a community feed, direct messaging, and privacy controls.
Can I cancel my Advanced subscription?+
Yes, you can cancel anytime from your account settings. Your premium features remain active until the end of your current billing period. Core ClubWatch club tracking continues to work with no subscription.

Is the Pro Shop open for orders?+
Yes — ClubWatch launched in May 2026 and the Pro Shop is open now. Browse trackers, accessories, and gear and order online today.
How do I place an order from the Pro Shop?+
Browse trackers, accessories, and gear at shop.clubwatch.com, add items to your cart, and check out securely with a credit card.
What payment methods are accepted?+
We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover), as well as Apple Pay and Google Pay at checkout.
How much does shipping cost?+
Shipping is free on all orders over $99. Standard shipping rates apply to smaller orders and are calculated at checkout based on your delivery address.
How long does delivery take?+
Standard delivery typically takes 3–7 business days within the continental U.S. Expedited shipping options will be available at checkout if you need your order sooner.
Do you ship internationally?+
Currently the Pro Shop ships within the United States. We’re working on expanding to international destinations — email support@clubwatch.com to let us know where you’d like us to ship.
What's your return and refund policy?+
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at returns@clubwatch.com. If your return is accepted, we will issue you an RMA#.

How do I track my order?+
Once your order ships, you’ll receive a confirmation email with a tracking number and a link to follow your package. You can also reach out to support if you need help locating an order.
What if my item arrives damaged or defective?+
We’re sorry — that shouldn’t happen. Email support@clubwatch.com within 14 days of delivery with your order number and photos of the issue, and we’ll send a replacement or issue a refund.
Can I cancel or change my order after placing it?+
If your order hasn’t shipped yet, we can usually cancel or modify it. Contact support@clubwatch.com as soon as possible with your order number and we’ll do our best to help.
